This is my story…
From the man himself: God wants you to know it getteth better. But actually, this is pretty funny, and relates to God’s new book. What do you think of this?
Reminded me of the movie “Big Gay Musical”, which you should all watch. :) It was actually fantastic and not as tacky as I thought it would be…
The Los Angeles Dodgers have joined the list of sports teams creating It Gets Better videos. Let’s keep it up.
It makes me happy that the athletic community is one of the most active in our campaign for civil rights.
Forgive me for beaming at this one.
The athletics department of my dear alma mater, Northwestern University, has joined the list of teams and universities who have made videos or other social media products for the It Gets Better campaign.
Northwestern Director of Athletics and Recreation Jim Phillips as well as NU head coaches and student athletes recorded an It Gets Better video over the summer. Public service announcements about the video will also air on the radio. Watch the video through NU’s athletics site, linked above.
“We are excited to join with the It Gets Better Project to take a stand against bullying,” Phillips said. “As a University and an Athletic Department, Northwestern takes great pride in celebrating each and every one of the unique individuals at our institution, whether they be students or staff. Bullying of anyone for any reason is not acceptable, and we hope others will use their voices to stand with us.”
I’m beyond thrilled this happened. To those of you still in high school: Northwestern is a pretty great place to be LGBT. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions about it!
Cabinet secretary Ken Salazar and the Department of the Interior want to tell you it gets better.
I really like this “It Gets Better” video because it really demonstrates the hardships so many LGBTQ people go through and then it tells you how to turn it all around. It shows that hope is stronger than the pain. It Gets Better.
